Sacrament prep for First Communion and First Reconciliation
First Reconciliation Date: Tuesday, November 22, 2011 7:00pm
First Communion Mass: Saturday, April 21, 2012 11:00am
Is your student ready for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist? These students should be in their second year of religious education or Catholic School and will be 7 years old by late November.
Students in grades 2 through 5 are invited to participate in preparation for the sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Parent registration for First Commuion and First Reconciliation will take place in September 2011.
Parents are the primary catechists for their children. Living faith through the sacraments and practicing our Catholic customs and traditions in your home is the best way for your students to be life-long, faith filled Catholics. So, students and their parents will attend family group sessions together and complete a student workbook together at home to get ready for these very special celebrations.
Do you have an older student who still needs to receive Eucharist or Reconciliation for the first time? We have opportunities for you too! Please call or email the religious education office for details.
